
Pesto Cream Sauce Pasta and Petite Peas
Ingredients
- 8 oz. Fusili pasta uncooked
- 12 oz. FLAV-R-PAC® Petite Peas
- 2 Chicken breasts grilled and sliced
- 1/2 cup Basil pesto
- 1/3 cup Heavy cream OR Half and Half
- 2 Tbsp. Butter melted
- 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese shredded
- Coarsely ground pepper OR red pepper flakes to taste
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions, adding peas during last 3 minutes of cooking time. Drain.
- In large bowl whisk pesto, cream and butter. Add drained hot pasta, chicken and peas; toss until coated.
- Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and pepper. Serve.
