Pesto Cream Sauce Pasta and Petite Peas

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz. Fusili pasta uncooked
  • 12 oz. FLAV-R-PACĀ® Petite Peas
  • 2 Chicken breasts grilled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup Basil pesto
  • 1/3 cup Heavy cream OR Half and Half
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter melted
  • 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese shredded
  • Coarsely ground pepper OR red pepper flakes to taste

Instructions
 

  • Cook pasta according to package directions, adding peas during last 3 minutes of cooking time. Drain.
  • In large bowl whisk pesto, cream and butter. Add drained hot pasta, chicken and peas; toss until coated.
  • Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and pepper. Serve.
