
Simple Southwest Rice
Ingredients
- 1 14.75 oz. can Chicken broth
- 12 oz. FLAV-R-PAC Steam of the Crop Santa Fe Medley
- 1 cup Long grain rice uncooked
- 1½ Tbsp. Olive oil OR melted butter
- 2 tsp. Chili powder
- 1 tsp. Ground cumin
- 1 tsp. Garlic salt
Instructions
- In medium saucepan, bring broth, 2 tablespoons water and Santa Fe Medley to a boil.
- Stir in rice, oil and seasonings; return to boil.
- Reduce heat to low, cover and cook for 15 minutes.
- Turn off heat. Let stand covered for 5 minutes.
- Fluff with a fork; serve.
