Strawberry Brioche Bread Pudding



STRAWBERRY BRIOCHE BREAD PUDDING

(12 – 2”x2” squares)


2 ½ cups Flav-R-Pac Fruit Favorites Strawberry Cubes
8 cups Brioche Bread, cubed, 1” diced
¼ cup Butter, unsalted, melted
2 cups Granulated Sugar
5 whole Eggs, beaten
2 cups Whole Milk
2 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 cup White Chocolate Chips
½ cup Walnuts, chopped
3 tbsp Sugar In The Raw


PREPARATION STEPS

Heat oven to 350° F.
Combine cubed brioche bread with melted butter and spread on baking sheet. Toast in oven for 3 – 5 minutes until golden brown.
In a large mixing bowl combine granulated sugar, eggs, milk and vanilla.
Combine toasted bread with egg mixture, Flav-R-Pac Fruit Favorites Strawberry Cubes, white chocolate and walnuts. Pour into greased 9 x 13 pan.
Cover with foil and bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until custard is set.
Remove foil, sprinkle generously with sugar in the raw. Bake uncovered for 5 additional minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool.
Cut into 2” squares and serve hot or cool.
